Question 1A- DAB stands for digital audio broadcasting. With DAB, the signal can reach far away meaning more people can access it therefore expanding the target audience. 2
Question 1B- One reason why people use radio apps more than TV is that they are portable so you can take them to multiple places. Also, People may use their phones more than they're TV and also you can listen to a specific genre.
Question 2A- BARB stands for Broadcasters audience research board and they research the viewing demographics of UK broadcasting channels.
Question 2B- We can interpret that more women watch ITV1 more than men because stereotypically women are more likely to watch soap operas than men. Another interpretation could be older men watch BBC2 as women are stereotypical not likely to watch snooker and also Younger males would probably rather watch something else. The higher social grade would most likely be BBC2 as snooker takes more concentration to watch
